CardCalc is a tool designed for Pokemon trading card vendors and collectors, operated by CardCalc LLC. It provides a buy/sell price calculator, live card price lookup, on-device AI-powered camera card scanning, session history with bought/sold/traded tracking, price trend charts, and a local card database for fast, accurate card identification.
By accessing or using CardCalc, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use CardCalc.
CardCalc offers free and Pro subscription tiers:
Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and subject to Apple's payment terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings at any time.
Existing subscribers on legacy plans ($5.99/3 months) will continue on their current plan until they choose to change it.
A CardCalc Pro subscription unlocks:
CardCalc displays pricing data sourced from third-party providers including Poketrace, TCGPlayer market data, and eBay sold listings. All prices are for informational purposes only. CardCalc LLC does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any pricing information.
Prices reflect market averages and recent sales data and may not represent the exact price you will receive when buying or selling cards. Always verify prices independently before making financial decisions.
The card scanning feature uses on-device AI text recognition (Google ML Kit, powered by Apple's Vision framework on iOS) to identify Pokemon cards from photos. As a fallback, images may be sent to Anthropic Claude for AI-assisted identification when on-device recognition is unable to identify a card. Scan results are provided as a best-effort identification and may not always be accurate. CardCalc LLC is not responsible for any decisions made based on scan results.
Camera and photo library access is required for scanning. On-device scanning processes images locally and does not transmit image data to external servers. Fallback AI processing may transmit images to Anthropic's servers and is not stored permanently by CardCalc LLC.
You agree to use CardCalc only for lawful purposes. You may not:
CardCalc and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by CardCalc LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. Pokemon and all related names, images, and trademarks are the property of The Pokemon Company International. CardCalc LLC is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Pokemon Company.
CardCalc is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CardCalc LLC does not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that pricing data will be accurate or up to date. Use of the app and reliance on any pricing information is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CardCalc LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any financial losses resulting from reliance on pricing data displayed in the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of CardCalc after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify existing users of significant changes through the app.
